Water-based Boron Nitride

     Boron nitride coating is an eco-friendly water-based coating with zero pollution and no volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

       It is formulated with high-purity high-crystallinity hexagonal boron nitride powder as the primary raw material, alumina-silica colloids and ultrafine powders as binders, plus various inorganic additives, through thorough stirring, dispersion, grinding and emulsification.Hexagonal boron nitride, also known as “white graphite”, features high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, high thermal conductivity, superior lubricity and anti-wetting property. It exhibits remarkable non-wettability against molten aluminum, copper, magnesium, zinc and their alloys, effectively protecting refractory linings exposed to molten metals, and serves as a premium release agent for metal, glass and other industries.

       Boron nitride coating is applicable to melting, casting and extrusion of aluminum, magnesium alloys and copper. It is widely coated on refractory lining surfaces of degassing boxes, deep beds, filter boxes and other equipment, as well as refractory consumables including inline launders, automatic casting ladles, graphite rotors, split plates, transition plates, downspouts, flow tubes, float funnels and casting nozzles. It protects refractory components, improves corrosion resistance and extends service life of refractories. During production, it prevents fine debris from peeling off and penetrating into molten metal to form inorganic inclusions, thus upgrading product quality.
